Other than a good night out, what else does it have to offer?

Not really on the same level as a major European city like London or Paris is it.
Always look on the bright side of life.

It offers a huge headache if you're trying to drive through the city centre. I've tried getting to the Apollo for 3 different concerts, and each time I've been unable to follow the directions I've got off the internet because roads were closed or just didn't exist and no other diversion signs were about.

That's the one just up from Piccadilly, isn't it.

tbh you're better just aiming for the carpark at Picc and walking/bussing it

it's not a major venue, but perfect for BNL and the Bottom tours.

It's got a great cricket venue, good shopping centres...uhhhmmm....an airport.....OK, that's about it Laughing

Rain and crack-heads?

Moss Side's good for a laugh, run through telling them you're from Toxteth, they love it.
