Equilibrium - It was okay. Christian Bale was really good, though. Decent concept for a movie, but some if it wasn't executed well enough (Taye Diggs, in particular).

We need to talk about Kevin

Deeply unsettling stuff. Outstanding performances throughout and superbly made by Lynne Ramsey. This one is going to be with me for weeks I think!

Green lantern - too much CGI all the bits in space just looked like a not very good computer game.

Dead Set - the charlie brooker zombie thing, E4 showed it as a feature length version on saturday. Really enjoyed it.

Inception - Once this movie starts playing, it's hard to not sit back and watch, sooooo good. Any time I run over to my parents' house to do laundry, I turn on their cable and it's on. That being said, the movie is brilliant.

Bronson - Nicholas Winding Refn's movies are so fun to watch, he reminds me of Kubrick but he's got his own style, too. And Tom Hardy's performance is great. To anyone who is hesitant on how he will be as Bane in "The Dark Knight Rises," watch this.

The Inbeetweeners Movie - good, just like a long episode. Needed more Greg Davis

Rise of the planet of the apes - good, but the ending seemed a bit weak and the villains of the piece were a bit to pantomime,

The Black Swan- I saw were this was going as soon as Mila Kunis appeared but it was still surprisingly enjoyable. Natalie Portman deserves whatever awards she received for her performance.

Third Star - dull and depressing.

let me in - I wish I'd watched the swedish original instead.

Easy A - amusing teen comedy

Pirates of the Carribean - On Stranger Tides - Not quite hitting the highs of the first 3 films, but more than watchable. Johnny Depp is born to play that role & had me laughing just with the walk & manerisms at times. Especially liked the twist on the mermaids.
