Yep Benz, it was released over here yesterday. Been to see it myself tonight. Enjoyed it, not too sure about Cheadle as Rhodey atm, might have to watch it a couple more times over when it gets released on DVD to make my mind up fully about that. Reckon Hammer will be putting in another appearance in Iron Man 3 if you ask me. Overall, I'd definitely recommend though.

My one concern with the film wasn't Rhodey - it was how much of a wuss they made Hammer.

Thought it was great and built brillianytly on the first, but may have strayed too close to "Demon" territory at times for them to use that as planned for the third.

Good use of Happy and Widow, too, and loved the teaser at the end...

Thats as close as you'll get to dealing with the alky superhero. A 2 hour action flick just isnt long enough to cover that story. Still plenty of cool stuff that they can do with tony, Extreamis for example.

    Iron Man 2

Worth the money, but could be better.

    Possible Spoiler Alert:

They spent too much time on developing the Avengers movie. Iron Man deserves its own damn flick.

    Toy Story 3

A nearly perfect movie. Great script, likeable and interesting new characters, a ton of humor, and arguably the most heart-warming of the Toy Story films. It was everything I had hoped it would be and more.

Agreed. Saw a midnight show of it, and thought it was one of the most original films I've ever seen. I truly can't remember the last time I was so engrossed in a film.

    Unbelievable work.

I agree. The trailers portrayed it as a "bourne" like film........not even close. It wasn't bad though.

Watched The Runaways last night. It was disappointing to me, seemed a really incomplete story. Focused on Cheri Curie and Joan Jett only.

    X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Bollocks.
Doubt - Really good. Thought it might be a bit dull but was wrong.
A Serious Man - Not as good as Burn after Reading but still enjoyable.

Dinner for Schmucks - Lot funnier than I imagined it would be, really, which made it worth it. Steve Carrell's performance reminded me of his work in Anchorman, which to me, is hilarious. Good stuff.

The A-Team- I actually went to see Inception but it was sold out and I saw this instead, liked it without loving it. Far to much emphasis on Face, after I got settled I even enjoyed Rampage Jackson as BA

Likewise. Absolutely loved it. Towards the end, I realised I was starting to look at my watch to see how long was left, but not in a bored way, was just right on the edge of my seat & desperate to see what happened.

Saw Predators just before that. Thought it was ok & nothing more. Lawrence Fishbourne was wasted IMO. Should have had a far bigger part. For me though, what made the first 2 Predator films good (& I'm not talking the AVP series) was that you didn't know what was stalking them. The mystery made it a far better film than the shoot 'em up this was. Didn't hate it, just wasn't a patch on the originals. That being said, it still was better than most of the AVP stuff.

Also saw the A-Team last week. As much as I know it was a pretty bad film, I still loved it. Thought Neeson & Rampage were both really good in their roles. Rampage had far better comic timing than Mr T IMO.

    Night Watch
Boy was this a weird film. This is the second time I've seen it now, and having previously watched it (thus making following the subtitles less work than before) & now having reading the novel, was a bit easier to follow & enjoy. Still, can't complain as this & the sequel only cost me a fiver on DVD. Smile

    In Bruges
It was alright, but not a "repeat viewing" film for me.

    Public Enemies
Characters were all over the place and there was no flow to the story. Just felt like set pieces strung together. Got a little better towards the end.

I thought the original was much better than the remake. I enjoyed the remake, but I thought the acting in the original was just so much more intense, more heart-wrenching.

Sorry to disagree with you, but I thought In Bruges was one of the most under-appreciated films of the decade. I was so happy to see it get nominated for best screenplay, because I thought it was brilliant. I've always been a fan of McDonagh's theatre works, and I thought this was just as great as his plays, if not better. The script was fantastic, the score was great, and Farrell's performance was surprisingly incredible.
