Lesnar's Career Possibly Over, Injuries & Shane McMahon...

Post  The Stig on Sun Nov 15, 2009 12:08 pm

    - Brock Lesnar's health status is way more serious than had been previously reported. Lesnar went to Canada last week for rest, as he is recovering from Mono, and while there collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. There is a major health issue that he is not letting out, but to kill rumors that may pop up, he does NOT have cancer HIV/AIDS. It is said that Lesnar will not fight for a very long time, if ever again. Dana White will head to Minnesota to meet with Lesnar, and will also try to get him into the Mayo Clinic, or some other top notch medical facility.

    - Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira is out of UFC 108 as he currently has a severe staph infection. He will need IV treatment to get rid of it, and is said to be in bad shape.

    - Shane Carwin will be undergoing knee surgery, and will not be available to face Velasquez at UFC 108.

    - Shane McMahon recently had a meeting at the UFC offices. Dana White would not comment on the meeting.

That's pretty shit for Lesnar. He looked to have one of the most interesting MMA careers of all time. It would be horrible for him to have to retire. According to Bryan Alvarez it's at least believed that whatever is wrong with him, it's not life threatening which is the most important thing.

All in all, it's a shitty time to be a heavyweight in the UFC. I'm scared they'll have to bring back Tank Abbott to fight Kimbo for the title at this rate.

The Shane McMahon stuff is interesting. Him buying into the company might be enough to provide the heart attack needed for Stephanie and Hunter to take over the WWE.

Surely Shane leaving WWE and having a meeting with these guys is all a big cross-promotional work of some sort?
