Single Player on COD4 could be beaten just by running blindly through the entire levels. Although as a story, and the level on Chechnya was utterly excellent.

I assume you mean Priipyat in the Ukraine? The one where you have to carry the old guy around on your back? It was phenomenal that level...bloody as hell and the surroundings were damn realistic for those of you that have seen footage of the place on TV or indeed been there.

Yeah, I mean there then, wasn't sure where exactly it was.
When the Helicopter goes down too, such a strange moment in a video game.

Civ IV: Colonisation
Exactly what it says on the tin - the gameplay is pretty much exactly what it was befoe (with the addition of borders), but now looks exceptionally good on the Civ IV engine

Just started playing FIFA 09, I'm doing manager mode with Man Utd.
Ronaldo seems to be the most expensive player in the game (about £41M), but I haven't checked how much Messi etc is worth.

Not liking the way the referee remembers bad tackles even after waving play on unlike the last one. But so far as awesome game.

Saint's Row. Working on beating the main campaign, got about 5-6 missions left, then will probably hit up some of the achievements and then be finished with it.

PS2
Lego Batman - Just collecting the mini-kits and the power bricks then I'll be done with this one.
PC
Grand Theft Auto 2 - Thanks to the link that The Chosen1 posted in the General VG News thread, I felt the urge to download it and have a bash at it again as it's been absolutely ages since I last played it. Just wish I could find that "Taxi Drivers Must Die" song though.

Resistance: Fall of Man for PS3
Tis quite a good game, the graphics are great even for a SDTV.

I see where you're coming from, it's quite easy to get through a level without losing 100% health.

I'm finishing games in preparation for Fallout. I only have a few things left in Saint's Row, I plan on beating Stranglehold on Hard Boiled, and I've yet to crack open my copy of Condemned.

It kinda isn't a good thing, because it's distracted me from doing coursework and housework and pretty much any other kind of work that I really should be doing.

Really? Gamespot said it was amazing. Hmmm...guess I'll wait to see what everyone else has to say about it before I buy. Going in to get Dead Space in the morning.

I just found the movement a bit turd, the map akward and the malaria issue was just annoying.
Played Dead Space for literally 2mins last night, its not bad.

I went ahead and bought both this morning. Been playing Dead Space alot more though today. Its really very good, I think the harder the difficulty the better the experience. Also loving Far Cry 2 so far. Never played such an open FPS before.

Did you play the first Farcry? I loved it, but I had a feeling it wasn't for everyone.

No I didn't play the first one, but my mate who loves the first one hates the 2nd one.

Re: What Game Are You Playing?
Red Alert 3 - class as always. Alongside the graphics, they've kept the one change they made for generals that I always liked - the radual scoring on each level to obtain new weapons/abilities. Playing as the soviets and love the "orbital dump" as a way to batter the enemy base.
