The Football League in it's infinite wisdom have moved Newcastle's trip to Plymouth from Saturday 17th April to Monday 19th April. Basically an 816 mile round trip is now going to involve 2 days off work for those wanting to go. All for the benefit of Sky. Even moving it to a lunch/teatime kick off on Saturday (or even Sunday at a stretch) would be fine, but never mind, the Sky Sports guys are happy so screw the people that actually travel to these games. Pricks. Mad

I still reckon we'll go up in 2nd...but kicking and screaming, whilst dragging our heels in to boot. Absolutely unforgiveable that we are even in 2nd place, when you consider the lead we had around Xmas time. We've gifted the title to Norwich, and it's only cause Charlton/Colchester/Swindon haven't been much better than us themselves that we've stayed where we are.

They say 90 points is around the total you need to get automatically promoted from League 1, so thats 22 to go then. I actually think we'll play well against Norwich/Southampton/Charlton away games, as we usually turn it on in the big ones.

Not hopeful for Tranmere tomorrow night though Crying or Very sad

Probably be ok as we've made profits, but with ticket prices going up (again - £32 for Oldham at home anyone?!) the crowd numbers could well diminish further. Will be a good time for us to leave this dump as Southampton will piss it next season with their resources. They get a multi-millionaire, we get a tax-dodging, geriatric boat owner Rolling Eyes who rambles on every week about stupid hotel plans and his petty little vendettas. I just wish the old bastard would piss off.

Considering they've only just bought the likes of Barnard, Puncheon and Lambert with an eye for next season, I'd say a resounding yes. They pay better than most of the Championship aswell, very well backed financially.

Last night was fucking desperate. Just gutless. Grayson looks/sounds like a broken man, and Howson/Doyle/Ankergren/Johnson were pathetically bad. It says alot when Paul Dickov is arguably your standout player! Grayson has dropped a bollock here, Grella is a much better option.

Damage limitation on Saturday. God knows how we are going to cope now without Kisnorbo, but getting the much missed Higgs back in goal would be a good start, as he is now fit again. Millwall will inevitably beat the awful Stockport on Saturday, so then its neck and neck for 8 more games. Our run-in after Swindon doesn't look bad, but blimey, we are absolute garbage these days.

It'll be an absolute travesty if Leeds have to endure a 4th season in League 1, no doubt once again propped up by loans, freebies and non-entities/never weres. Nice one Bates.

Very serious money from a club who entered admin last season. chin ponder

Bad enough that we were the best team and lost, bad enough that bechio was stretcherd off after 10mins but what the fuck is wrong with Kandol? Sent off after 20 secs?! that must be a record of some kind.

If Grayson keeps the same starting 11 from the weekend for the rest of the season, then we'll do well, providing we play like we did. We were very unlucky to lose that match. Having Higgs back in is great; Collins and Lowry both looked tidy; Kilkenny is hands down our best central midfielder, and Grella should start instead of Becchio if he is out.

Swindon on Saturday - MASSIVE game! Especially as we'll no doubt be in 3rd at the time, barring a Brentford miracle. Yeovil on Monday too is huge, I want 6 points.
